Our Services:
The Port offers a wide variety of youth and young adult friendly supports and services. All services are provided at no cost to youth or their families.
Youth will also have access to tutoring & homework assistance, mentoring, along with linkage to any program or service within our ability that is provided within the community.
- YOUTH PEER SUPPORT - Peer-delivered service for youth and young adults, designed to provide direct support, information sharing, and skill building between peers.
- TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE - Staff work with youth to identify transportation barriers and help to mitigate those barriers with resources or real transportation access for activities pertaining to their goals.
- SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT - Youth are assisted with obtaining and maintaining employment.
- RECOVERY SUPPORTS - Assisting those who are wanting to focus on recovery from drug and/or alcohol use.
- COUNSELING - Trained counselors will help process and work through the many mental health challenges that may come with transitioning to adulthood, including, but not limited to, mental health and Substance Use Disorder related counseling.
- MEDICATION MANAGEMENT - Geared toward helping young people who may be experiencing behavioral health challenges identify and regulate medications that can help aid in their wellness & recovery journey. As a TAYLRD organization, we try to reduce and eliminate any barriers to accessing medications to make it easier to find and stick to the right regimen.
- CAREER PLANNING - You can access assistance in planning your career by meeting with a trained staff member to take an aptitude test, discuss your interests, research and identify jobs and educational goals to help realize your dream.
- COMMUNITY SUPPORT - Provided to help young people live with maximum independence in their community by providing skills training, assistance in accessing resources, interpersonal skills development.
- LIFE SKILLS TRAINING - Learn about and build skills that are crucial to help youth and young adults navigate the transition to adulthood in a positive and productive way. From cooking classes, games that help with communication skills, and more, we offer many different ways to learn new life skills.
